Dr Yaser Teebi is a warranted Clinical Psychologistand Gerontologist specialising in Geriatrics and Gerontology, working at a Rehabilitation Hospital in Malta.  

Dr Teebi has obtained a Bachelor of Psychology(Honours), a Master of Gerontology and Geriatrics, and a Master of Psychology in Clinical Psychology. He has also completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at the University of Birmingham, with his thesis focusing on Awareness in Dementia.  

Dr Teebi has researched a wide variety of issuespertaining to old age, including depression in the oldest-old (90+), chronic pain, loss, neurological conditions in old age, rehabilitation psychology, and grief and bereavement, which are his main academic interests. He has presented at numerous national and international conferences. He is a Visiting Lecturer and Supervisor at various institutions and an expert peer reviewer for Gerontology and Geriatric Medicine, a SAGE Journal. He is the Vice President for Union Matters for the Malta Chamber of Psychologists.
